Twitter?

I signed up for Twitter today. I don't think this will be my thing- but who knows? A few years ago when social networking was the new thing, I never thought I would get into it, and yet I have been on facebook for almost a year. I do enjoy facebook. I have found quite a few of my old friends, and even see one of these friends regularly now. The thing I have the most difficulty with is coming up with an interesting status update. Twitter seems to me like just the status update part.

I agree with some of my coworkers and friends. Do we really need to know what people are doing at any given moment? Does it really matter? So as I signed up, there were a few people in my email box that have twitter- so I am following them, I will do the same for my coworkers next. I also am following for a tv show or two that I like. I hope that I never am tempted to tweet that I am sitting on the patio.
