Wikis

Yes, I do use wikis. I mean who hasn't used Wikipedia? It's awesome! I know it's not always 100% accurate, some schools don't even allow kids to use wikipedia. But it is good for basic information. My favorite use for it at work is to find booklists. If a patron wants a list in order of books in a series it is the fastest way to find them. However I never have done any editing of a wiki page. It was also fun to find the origin of the work wiki.

I think we could use wikis in our library. My first thought is for book reviews. Staff could write reviews of the books we have read to share with patrons and staff.
